I tell you, for the niche culture that roleplaying is, I am out of the loop big time. Something like 50% of the posts on RPGnet Open are about some game called exhausted or something and I do not know what that is and I do not care.
I'm not complaining, mind you, but it is a rather weird position to be in, outside of an outsider group and all.
You're not alone. I still complain about "this new-fangled White Wolf stuff". It's funny that there can be such a division of "main stream" and "niche market" inside the tiny niche market that is roleplaying!

5=6, right? Or is that 1=2? Feh, numerology sucks. The point is that groups will always form sects and schisms, then the sects and schisms form their own sects and schisms, which form even more sects and schisms.
