Title: Elfs would do a Slayers game incredibly well.

(As much as I hate to admit it, as I hate slayers and find Elfs much funnier. But I could be coerced to run it like that as I know a couple of Slayers fangirls.)

Has anyone else ever made that connection, or with any other of the stream of D&D-transcript-turned-parody anime?

In a lot of ways Slayers is a parody of the tropes of Japanese computer RPGs, which in turn is based on D&D, hence the connection.
