Title: 24-Hour RPG: The Last Days of Atlantis
Post by: SrGrvsaLot on July 20, 2004, 12:48:39 AM
Well, I finished the game, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I think it wound up being closer to a "campaign sourcebook" than an actual game, though.

Some feedback would be nice. I really have two issues with this game.

1) Is the central concept strong enough to support an entire game? I liked the idea, but I kind of feel it's better suited to a one-shot adventure.

2)The system I used was my first attempt at a free-form mechanic (oxymoronic as that sounds). Do you think it would actually work in play? I'd test it myself, but all but one member of my gaming group is moving to another part of the state.

Oh, by the way. The URL is srgrvsalot.tripod.com/atlantis.pdf

I don't know what tell you. It didn't give me any problems when I tried it just now.

Very cool!

Would you mind submitting it at the 24 Hour RPG site so that others can check it out and respond?

It's under www.24hourrpg.com , then click "Submit!" at the bottom.

Thanks!
