Post by: Vaxalon on August 04, 2004, 04:37:42 AM
Is it okay to post IRC game logs here?

If your purpose is simply to post a transcript...not really.

If your purpose is to highlight a particularly successful use of a gaming technique with an actual play example...

or demonstrate a dysfunctional situation in action...

or outline the steps that led to a particularly powerful epiphany moment...

or other like minded things...

then absolutely.

In other words if you have a point to make and the log is your supporting material...bring it on.

Or, to put a slightly different spin on it from Ralph:

Yes!

We do it all the time. But it's best if you actually have something to say. (Notice that I haven't published any of the DarkBabe game logs here yet.) It doesn't have to be anything profound, or groundbreaking; I've posted a lot of stuff here that's just me and my players talking about what was cool, what wasn't, what worked, what didn't, etc.

Hey, since it's Trollbabe how about the Adept press forum.
(I'm in both Pag and Vax's Trollbabe games, and I think the play logs would be interesting studies of variant Trollbabe settings....)
