Title: Conflicts with multiple Protagonists
Post by: Nicolas Crost on December 01, 2004, 01:47:48 PM
Hi everybody,

in our PtA online-game (if anyone is interested and speaks German, this is the log of the first session (http://www.xando-dalmos.de/Caynreth/veritas-mundi_2004_11_15.log)), we made the following observation: conflicts with more than one protagonist involved on one side of the conflict tend to favor the protagonists simply because they can all use their screen presence for free while the producer just gets one die for free and has to pay for the rest out of his budget. This has led to the producer mainly losing conflicts.

Is that a bug or a feature? Or are we making a mistake here?

Hey Nicolas,

Each protagonist compares their success total separately against the producer. They don't "gang up" against the producer's roll. See this thread (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/viewtopic.php?t=13315) for more details.
