Title: Locating Cruft in Mridangam

So, I've been working on this game Mridangam (http://unrequitedthai.livejournal.com/64923.html). (Sorry about linking; it's just not the same without the inline images and so forth.)

Anyway, I'm looking at the section called Flowers & The Temple, and wondering if that does the work that I want it to do.

Specifically, I want the exploration of a temple to automatically spit out a story which is some minimum length and has some minimum amount of conflict for the protagonists, and shows a certain pattern of escalation where life gets more unpleasnt as it goes on.

My concern is that the temple is a really clunky way to do this, even though it's a beautiful metaphor.
