Its funny that this has never come up before.
Is the intended timing of the effects of Boost this:
1. Boost raises the Sorcer's Score.
2. The Demon's power goes to 1.
3. The Sorcerer takes lethal special damage(X + Power, which is 1.)
4. The Sorcerer takes his Boosted action.(Which is lessened by both the lasting and the temporary injuries from the over-boost.)
5. The Demon's power goes back to its original score.
It occured to me that that'd cut down on some fun temptations to over-boost, unless you could take an action before the penalities were applied, which makes me think that I'm doing it wrong.
Hiya,
You have the order wrong. The damage to the sorcerer occurs after the Boosted action. In other words, the action will still fully benefit from the Boost.
Best,
Ron
