I have written two cheat sheets (or rules summaries) for The Shadow of Yesterday, one for character creation and the other for conflict resolution. They are designed for quick reference in game, like the inside of a GM screen.

Conflict Resolution

Does anybody see any glaring errors? Spelling mistakes?

Thanks! These will be VERY useful.
My only suggestions--
1. Bringing Down the Pain can only be used in the context of a resisted Ability check. You can't do it for a simple skill check: someone else at the table has to be trying to thwart you.
2. During my only actual play experience, the Zeitgeist rules would have been very helpful during BDTP. They're listed on the web-doc right above healing.
3. "Any successful action taken against the character succeeds when he is broken." That sentence is a little confusing; I'd amend it to: "Any successful action against the broken character will accomplish the attacker's overall goal."
Otherwise--extremely helpful and cool! Thank you!
Yay, brilliant work. Thanks.
I agree with James' Zeitgeist comment, and I had a hell of a problem finding the rules in the first place because it doesn't say Zeitgeist anywhere on the Wiki as far as I can see.
Am I correct that Zeitgeist is described here: http://random.average-bear.com/TSOY/BringingDownThePain under Speeding up Bringing Down the Pain?
Maybe a link to that from the cheat sheet?

Nah, the Zeitgeist stuff is buried in the regular rules book, right above the section on Healing:
Quote from: TSOY RulebookThe Zeitgeist method of group Pain-Bringing may be an easier and more fun way to arbitrate these situations. If everyone on one side of a conflict has a similar intention towards the other side, you can use the above rules for a group Ability Check when everyone is using similar abilities. In the Zeitgeist mode, anyone can spend from their pools to help anyone else, and damage taken is distributed by the losing side among their characters however they like. Whenever a character is broken, his player falls out of the group Pain-Bringing.
Ah, that explains a lot. I thought I read somewhere in the Anvilwerks forum that Zeitgeist was on the Wiki. And it was right in front of my nose. Jeez ;)
Thanks.
Thanks for the sugesstions. I have made some of the sugested changes. The Zeitgiest rules are weaved into the description of BDTP.
Any other suggested cheat sheets?

In conflict resolution, 'looser' should be 'loser' (twice). Otherwise, it looks good!
