Title: Gen Con 2005
Post by: John Wick on August 23, 2005, 11:13:23 PM
Hey guys,

I know The Forge did very well and you may have heard we did extremely well ourselves.

I just wanted to drop a "Hey!" to everybody on the other side of the aisle and a big whoppin' "Congrats!"

We rocked the show, folks. From our design seminar to word on the street--those little strange games with strange mechanics were the talk of the show.

Keep up the good work and I hope to see all of you out here in Sunny So Cal in a few months.

John,

Rock on! It was a pleasure and an honor to share the seminar floor with you.

Yeah, how'd that seminar go, anyway? I've heard good things. Someone want to write up a quick summary?

Bad thing about GenCon 2005:  I didn't spend much time with the Wicked or the Dead.

Good thing:  I did get cool games from 'em.  Anyone who didn't take a walk over to their booth missed out, big time.

We live in an imperfect world, but that doesn't mean I can't try harder next time.

GenCon rocked! I love you people!

I made a QuickTime Slideshow with tons of photos from the Forge booth, Wicked Dead and afterhours; get it here: http://osx.void.fm/GenCon2005/GenCon2005.mov
