Title: [Trollbabe] Bonuses for good roleplaying?
Post by: Joshua Patterson on September 22, 2005, 09:45:03 PM
The subject pretty much says it all.  I was wondering if anyone had any experience with trying to award bonuses for good roleplaying like Sorcerer does?  Or would it screw a bit too much with the narration rules?

Hiya,

It's definitely not suited to the Trollbabe dice system, as I see it. Or another way to look at it is, Trollbabe won't work in the first place unless the descriptions are there.

A near-middle ground might be found in The Shadow of Yesterday and Primetime Adventures, which include various players giving one another "gift" dice. I'm not sure whether it's a good idea for Trollbabe, though ... the whole success/failure/risk thing works so well that I'm hesitant to add another variable into it. Same goes for Dogs, for the same reasons.

Best,
Ron

That's the conclusion I came, but just wanted to make sure.  Thanks!
