Title: Function request
Post by: Andrew Morris on October 26, 2005, 06:19:57 PM
The easy-to-spot icons for topics you've posted in are great. Is there any way to add something like that for topics you've read? Even better would be a way to mark topics yourself. If there is such a function already, and I've simply missed it, could someone point me to it?

I think what you're looking for is already here.  I use the "Show unread posts since last visit." to see what's new when I log in, and the oval-shaped "New" icon shows me when there's a new post to a thread that I haven't read yet.

No, I meant I'd like to have a way to easily identify threads I've read, or, better still, to identify threads I want to read again. Sort of the opposite of the "Show unread posts" function, but not exactly.

Ideally, I'd like a way to say, "Hey, that's an interesting topic that'd I'd like to pay special attention to, either so I can see new responses, or find it easily when I look in the particular forum."

Oh, gotcha.  You're looking for something like a 'flag' then, right?

Yes, that's it exactly.
