I was trrying to find all instaces of the book "Impro" but cannot weed out the citations with Improvisation, Improvement and anything else with impro in it. is there a way to do this?
That might be tough. Trailing space is ignored by the search engine, and even double quoting a single word (with or without the trailing space) will still return extended matches like "improve".
If you know a word that would logically follow the name of the book everywhere, for example, "book", you could search for the two-word phrase "impro book" (enter in double quotes in the search box), but I doubt that there is such a word.
In other words, as far as I know you are SOL.

PS: I just tried Google restricted to the Forge and that still gives false positives (mostly stuff like "impro'd" for "improvised") but there's only about 100 hits there, so that might be clean enough for you to work through.

Correction: make that 454 hits on Google. I had mud in my eyes.
Apologies,

Try doing a search with these terms: impro johnstone. (I'm assuming that's the book you mean.)

The name and title seems to work well now if I can find the time to read the posts everything will go well.
Thank you very much.
