Here's how I view my economic transactions with Anvilwerks Press:
1. Clinton works hard, and makes awesome games.
2. I mooch and don't pay him anything. Largely because I have virtually no money, but still: it's mooching.
At any rate, now that he's on about marketing The Shadow of Yesterday more aggressively, I figured I would do my best to help him by generating word of mouth. Feel free to help me pimp Clinton's game (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=230335) to assuage my terrible Calvinist guilt.
It would be best to describe your play experiences, if you have any, so that people can see that this game does a lot of cool stuff.
James,
The full-court press generally isn't the way to go. Talk about the good times you've had. Talk about what you like. But that kind of enthusiasm/pimping does as much to hurt as it does help.
I hear ya and I love TSoY too but ya might want to examine your approach for future threads.
So noted. <sad face>
