Title: Seattle area gaming comunity
Post by: iain on January 03, 2006, 01:00:17 AM
I am potentially going to over in the Seattle area come March/April this year and was wondering what there was in the way of activity and gaming shops in the area.
Cheers

You'll want to check out the Seattle Gamers Assemble yahoo group.  It's primarily focused on role playing and has a number of members interested in Forge style games.  There is a semi-regular monday night gathering to do one and two shots:

Currently they meet at Metro Seattle Gamers, a gaming club located in one of the neighborhoods of Seattle that also hosts a lot of board gaming activities:

If you feel up to it, there is Gamestorm, and gaming convention being held in March in Portland, which is about 3 hours away by car or train:

You may also want to check out such fine stores as Gary's Games, or the Dreaming.

And finally feel free to PM me when you are in town.
