I happened across this web site that includes the original Comics Code that governed the content of comics. It could be sort of fun to base a Capes Comics Code on the old real-life Comics Code (found at http://www.onceuponadime.com/hist/comicscode.htm), just to see what would happen and what kinds of conflicts would hit the table:
Goal: Spiderman gets lucky with Mary Jane
Goal: Reed Richards gets a divorce
Goal: Superman says the F word
Goal: Robin comes out of the closet
Goal: Catwoman looks fantastic
Goal: The Penguin's thugs indulge in unecessary gun play
Goal: The Punisher conceals his weapons in a unique and unusual way
Goal: Doctor Strange smokes a massive joint
You get the idea.

Ouch! He'd always be, like ... heartbeats away from getting some action, but never able to capitalize. Something would always get in the way.
Come to think of it, isn't that the basic driving force of the game
Teenagers From Outer Space?
Thanks for posting this!

Pretty much the bulk of the Spidy comics over the years, possibly expanded to "Peter has a successful romantic engagement" in the Comics Code.
I'm partial to "Goal: The Joker shouts, "CRIME CRIME CRIME! I'm committing a naughty CRIME and here's how I did it!"

For some reason this one killed me.
