Title: Explicit Rewards for the Producer
Post by: Matthew Glover on February 15, 2006, 03:41:53 PM
"Man, I know you're the Producer, but you oughta get Fanmail for that."

After "Man, I wish this was a real show so I could watch it," that's what our group says the most when we play PTA.  I'm curious if other groups experience this too.

In the following thread: My Pattern (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/index.php?topic=18495.0), they clarify me the meaning of "finger-wave" (to the producer or even to other player when there is no fan-mail available to be delivered). I think this is exactly what you are talking about.

The producer gets rewarded when conflicts are engaging enough that players want to spend fan mail on them. Half of them go back into budget.

Love, adoration and fame.

These are the basic food groups of the Producer.
