Don't know if it's a gaming first or not, but my Infinite Armies game has just been nominated for a 2006 Origins Award (Vanguard category). This is a "publishing" note in that Infinite Armies is a pdf-only product, and that's why it may be a first. The nature of the Infinite Armies game is such that it cannot be published normally, and I think it is a good sign for the pdf-based game that one of them has made it to the nomination stage for the Origins Awards.

And of course, I'm even happier that the pdf is one of mine...;)
