Title: The Roach scuttles Out of the Box
Post by: Michael S. Miller on April 28, 2006, 03:40:53 PM
Ken Hite reviews the Shab al-Hiri Roach in his latest Out of the Box (http://www.gamingreport.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=189)

QuoteIt's a brilliant recapitulation of comic and horrific tensions, an ideal "one shot" game that embraces players' destructive instincts, but one that retains a core of real personal unease. It's a thing of pure design beauty -- even without the Roach. And with the Roach, it's unstoppable...

Well done, Jason!

Thanks for that.  Interestingly, I expected this to translate into a bump in sales, which it 100% didn't.

That is interesting. Still, it's new to the market, it can take a while to get moving. Definitely include a juicy quote from the review when promoting the game, though.
