No, this is not a thread about Simulationism...

I just ran across this link to a new member of the Moleskine notebook line: City Notebooks (http://www.moleskine.com/eng/_interni/city/default.htm)

This has, I think, amazing potential for a lot of different games.  And, of course, it makes me wonder what you could do with a similar format; I mean, could you write a game like this, where each person playing has, essentially, a customizable Setting interface?  And if so, what could you do with the system to tie it into the format?  Has anyone done something similar?
