This thread is a continuation of this thread (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/index.php?topic=20360.0), which was about the CSI Games(Competitive Story Interaction Games) Wiki (http://competitiverpgs.pbwiki.com) and discussions/projects regarding its purpose and formation.
Now that I'm back in the saddle, there's a new Project, one that runs from today, the 4th of December, for the next 3 weeks, till the 25th. Details on the Project can be found as always on the relevant page on the wiki, aptly titled The Project (http://competitiverpgs.pbwiki.com/The%20Project).
Discussion will be carried out in this blog post (http://competitiverpgs.wordpress.com/2006/12/04/competition-what-for/) and is concerning the issue of Competition. What do we compete for, what do we prove by winning said competition, is game without something to prove, wherein you compete for the feel of it is viable? Focusing on CSI Games.
Hope to see you and your input.
I'd also like to remind you that all posts on the blog are open to commentary indefinitely.
