Title: [Gencon 2007] Sharing experience
Post by: Joshua A.C. Newman on January 10, 2007, 09:05:47 PM
There are a bunch of things that every Forge egg will have to figure out. Let's share experience so we're not all running around and looking stuff up. Please post with references so we don't just wind up quoting errors.

Here are some questions that others can answer and other others will want answered:

It will probably be easiest if questions are posted here, then split into their own threads and linked so the answers don't get jumbled up.

Drop me a line about credit card processing, it's possible I can help you out.

My question: is wireless internet available in the exhibitor's hall?  Cause if it (and electricity) is available, what's stopping me from processing orders through my webpage on a laptop?  That way I can take credit cards through Paypal.  Am I missing some essential roadblock in there?

Joshua,

Wi-fi in the exhibit hall costs approximately the GDP of Paraguay.
