Title: Artist/layout designer wanted
Post by: Blankshield on January 16, 2007, 04:17:39 AM
hi folks,

I'm looking for two different things, which hopefully aren't too hard to find in the same person.

1: I want someone who can design me a simple, simple piece of text-based art, suitable for being used to create a coin stamp.  I know exactly what I want, I just need someone to do it.

2: I want someone who can take a dead-ugly functional play aid design and render it pretty in two different ways, without compromising functionality.  The existing play aid can be seen here (http://www.blankshieldpress.com/citycardb.pdf). (169K .pdf).  Version A is on standard letter 8 1/2 x 11 as presented.  Version 2 is destined for a round play-aid, about 10" in diameter.  I'm not sure if version B is possible, but I'd really, really like it to be.  I have no strong restrictions on style or form, aside from "vaguely Greek"

Ideally I want someone able to do both 1 and 2, but I'll work with two people if I can't find the right person.

I will pay cash for the work, I would like draft results within a month, and finals within a couple weeks after that.  I am paying for a limited-use license: you retain all ownership of your artwork; I gain the right to use it for the Blank Shield Press game Blood and Bronze.

If you're interested, let me know by e-mail or PM.

thanks,

James
