For those of us (if, in fact, there are any besides my crew) who are coming into town on Wednesday, but are not Exhibitors, and therefore are prohibited from helping out in the exhibitor hall (which I will sorely miss, mind you), I'm interested to know who is showing up when and if they'd be interested in doing anything.
Toward the evening we can, one assumes, hook up with the Exhibitor types for dinner and late chatting/gaming, but since I, at least, will be showing up earlier in the day, it might be fun to have lunch and hang out, or whatever.
Alternatively, if nobody else is coming in that early who does not already have plans, I'd be interested to know that as well, so that I and my peeps can make plans on our own.

Last year a lot of us got together for the Diana Jones Award (and general chatter) on Wednesday night at Jillian's on South Meridian Street. The award will be given away at the same location this year. Lots of "Forge folk" and others were on-hand last year. Lots of fun...

I invite all of you to the Diana Jones ceremony, and I'd also like to encourage exhibitors and non-exhibitors to exchange cell phone numbers for dinner hookups, for all evenings during the con including Wednesday.
I'd really like to emphasize that this isn't a two-tiered community - we're role-players together, and who's published and who's exhibiting is just a detail. So Nev, Matt, Matt, and whoever, contact anyone you'd like to exchange numbers and to make sure that we affirm our solidarity and not let arbitrary distinctions (the necessity of exhibitor badges and non-exhibitor badges) create artificial barriers.

IIRC, the DJ ceremony started lateish, yes? I remember heading over there after dinner last year... but my memory is slipping in my dotage, so I could be wrong.
Mostly I just remember passing around that one game with the insane calculus equation encumbrance rules for intangible movement through solid objects.
So, for anybody that may be around earlier than dinner, is anybody interested in getting a short game of something simple going? I was thinking maybe Great Ork Gods or something along those lines with a low learning curve and not too serious, sort of an icebreaker.
And of course there's always Jungle Speed... *eg*

I believe we are taking off Sunday... lemme check... yeah. I usually take off after the big post-con dinner so I can get back before the weekend catches up with me.

I'm arriving Tuesday night and leaving early Monday (in the early AMs), I'm up for gaming.
