Is there going to be open play space at Origins? And if there is, how difficult-to-impossible will it be to organize a picjkup game of something new?
I didn;t get a chance to scheudle a formal demo of HeartQuest, and don;t really expect much in terms of getting to actually play the game at the convention. But if there's a possibility, I'd like to explore it.
Should be easy enough. It's funny, but there were a lot of open tables last year. When we decided that we needed two extra games to satisfy play requests, we had plenty of tables to choose from.
Hey,
This is probably not politic to admit in public, but at Origins 2000, I and three others felt like playing a session of Story Engine, and ... well, we just went into the play area and sat down at a table, and played it. I am given to understand that this is grossly against the rules, which puzzles me. The table was unused; it's a role-playing convention; hence ...
Well, anyway. The issue apparently is not space to play in - tables aside, I imagine that any ol' flat spot will do. The key would be to organize the group of people involved.
Best,
Ron
I've got 2 tables, I think, every day at 10:00. If one of them isn't being used, you guys can use it for whatever.
