Title: I´m a freelance illustrator.
Post by: Guido_Quaranta on September 09, 2008, 04:26:36 AM
Hello everybody.

I´m Guido, and I´m an illustrator. I did all the art for the Spanish translation of Clinton Nixon´s Donjon (I did the actual translation too).

You can see my gallery here: http://www.guidoq.deviantart.com/gallery/ (http://www.guidoq.deviantart.com/gallery/)

I can do several different styles and love games and game art.

Just let me know if I can do something for you.

So Guido, what are some of your "ballpark" rates?

Guido,

Thanks of r posting the link. I do like the artwork too, and love that you are using ink on paper. My favorite style, rather than the grey half-tones and pencil that we sometime see in books (just my preference - nothing more).

I have an illustrator for my current project, but will be looking around again in future. Could you also send me your rates?

Many thanks,

Craig J. Brain

Thanks Morbius_of_Oz for your comments. Many people have asked if I would do some traditional work, thinking some of my art is made in vectors. All pencil and ink on paper there.

I will contact you via PM now.

I'm working with Guido on some art for one of my books.  I want to let you all know, he is fantastic to work with -interprets the illustrations well, and quite reasonable!  He's doing some real moody/realistic illos for my turn of the century game, a bit of a departure from the sword/sorcery stuff in his gallery -still hitsit out of the park though.  This may seem like a weird post, but I've recently had to deal with an artist who couldn't deliver and I wanted to turn it into a positive by backing one who can.
