Title: Non-superhero genre capes
Post by: SheikhJahbooty on January 31, 2010, 09:53:59 AM
Does anyone in Atlanta play this game?

I know a bunch of people that like superhero games, but they wouldn't be into the competitive aspects. They play games like Champions or Heroes Unlimited or Mutants and Masterminds, games where you get to play Justice League kinds of situations, everyone working together, all the heroes in almost every scene, etc.

I know players who I could probably get to play this game, but they aren't into superheroes. If instead we were playing heroes of Greek myth or superspies, potentially back stabbing each other, or mad scientists or something like that, I think I could hook them easily.

Are there any supplements that do that, change the setting? Has anyone written a Spy vs. Spy Capes hack? You know provide different drives, spy abilities instead of super abilities, international treaties instead of comics code, different clicks, stuff like that?

I wrote a hack to run the game as a creation myth and do fantasy worldbuilding. PM me and I'll get it to you.
