Title: Will there be Maneuvers for Missile Weapon Proficiencies?
Post by: Brad on August 02, 2002, 10:43:49 PM
Just wondering if any are planned and what they might be?

I'm not an expert on missile weapons, so I'm not really sure what kinds of manevuers even could exist. Any ideas?

I can't really think of manuevers really, but I can think of a bunch of cool stunts you can do with missile weapons.  Maybe guidelines on how to:

-Shoot ropes.
-Pin people to objects by their clothing.
-Shoot other projectiles out of the sky.
-Shoot weapons out of enemy's hands.
-Shoot multiple arrows at once.
-Shoot odd trajectories (curve-arrow)
Etc.

As far as I know (except maybe for the rope thing) most of those things are quite difficult to accomplish with a bow and arrow.  Than again I don't know much.

If I give you a -2 die penalty for shooting at a person's head, then shooting a called shot to the hand would be about a -4 or so.  A called shot to a rope or piece of clothing might be a -5.  And, if it's moving, that's an additional -2.  You're smart people, you can figure out the rest.  :-D

Quote-Shoot other projectiles out of the sky.

Like Bush?
Man, he'd be happy if someone taught him to do that with a bow.
Or better yet, his six-shooter.
