Title: Finally getting into the retail chain
Post by: Michael Hopcroft on December 07, 2002, 04:08:18 AM
I think I've foinally arrived: Wizard's Attic is actually carrying my game at //http://www.wizards-attic.com/SeraphimGuard.HTML and tell me they've made some sales.

Now the question is -- will Alliance having picked up the book mean it will show up on game shelves all over the country? Or will the retailers balk?

Hi Michael,

Congratulations on getting with Wizards Attic. Yup, your first orders from Alliance are probably (not guaranteed, but probably) a good indicator that you'll be on lots of shelves, everywhere, for a little while. Then after that, who knows? I suggest learning a bit more about which retailers carry your game, if possible, and to develop good relations with them. One good way to do that is to set up a retailer locator on your site, and have them contact you. It's free advertising for them, after all.

Best,
Ron
