Title: FitM and Bonus Dice
Post by: greyorm on August 11, 2001, 05:09:00 PM
It occurs to me last night, while I'm heading off to sleepy land, that FitM and the Bonus Dice mechanic in Sorcerer don't necessarily work together.

Bonus Dice are awarded for "cool stunts" or the "narrative weight" of an action -- though the latter might work well with BD -- so, you have to be descriptive to get your dice, but FitM requires a general statement, with the description afterwards.

Is there a workaround for this, where you can be descriptive before the roll and still use FitM, or are these two pieces more-or-less mutually exclusive?

Raven,

Please see my reply in Paul Czege's thread, "FitM and bonus dice for role-playing," further down on the Sorcerer forum.

Best,
Ron

Here's me not scrolling down far enough.
Here's me beating my head slowly against my desk.

Thanks, Ron.
