Title: Illustrator seeking projects
Post by: Allan on April 09, 2003, 09:10:37 AM
Hi, I am a freelance illustrator very interested in RPGs.  I mostly work in black and white line drawings, and am heavily influenced by comic books.  My preferred genres are contemporary fantasy, superheroic, and absurdist.  However, I am interested and profficient in a variety of genres and media, including watercolour, photoshop, and photography.

Please check out some samples of my artwork at http://www.geocities.com/maycontainmonkeys.  Many more samples available if you're interested.  Thanks.[/url]

I'd like to recommend Allans work to anyone. He is very professional and very good at letting you know if personals reasons may have an impact on things he is working on get done. He is also highly open to suggestions and requests and I have yet to have any complaints about the work he is doing for my game Frontier.

Just thought I would give him a friendly plug for his work.

Allan,

you might want to consider optimizing the images on your web site. It takes an absolute age for just the thumbnails to load in, and at 280k each it's not surprising. If you could try getting them down to about 16k each, then the page would load a lot quicker, which should help your search for work.

Thanks for the plug, Sylus.  And for the suggestions, Matt.

I've updated the page, hopefully it will be easier to view now.
