Title: GENCON Catalog
Post by: quozl on April 15, 2003, 02:54:42 PM
Did the idea that was discussed here: http://www.indie-rpgs.com/viewtopic.php?t=5028 ever go anywhere?

I would like it to but there was a lot of resistance.

There was indeed some friction, but as I recall it was due to envisioning two levels of catalogs. Phil advocated a relatively higher-end, more robust catalog to be paid for by participants. Others, including myself, advoctated a simpler, shorters and more inexpensive catalog just for the Con itself.

If I recall rightly, the general agreement was that Phil would pursue the larger catalog, while I would coordinate the smaller one. So, both ideas would come to light. Phil and I would collaborate on both pieces so as to have a reasonable amount of cross-pollination in the presentation of each

Am I misrepresenting anything? Hope not.

So, it's revvin' up to the time now when we need to consider _something_. Phil, your comments? Let me know here, or we can start an email  exchanget to get things moving.
