In MS word format, includes a font for use in the sheet.

Yes, very nice, although I woundn't have allocated so much space to the priorities, given that they're totally meaningless after character creation is completed.

But top marks, it's very nice looking. Someone should run it through a PDFer so we're not forced to work in MS Word :-)

Brian.

See, this is why I love this forum. You make a casual comment, and someone runs with it and does it an hour later :-)

I might have enough time on my hands this weekend to make it into a pdf form. Fill it all out on the femputer and print with character info and all. Not that I'm that big a fan of pdf form character sheets (I like the experienced look -- coffee stains, blood, sweat and tears...) but it's a simple procedure and people ususally find it handy.

Lovely.

You misspelled "liege" though.

"Liege" has been fixed on the PDF charsheet. I noticed I didn't have the decorative border function installed when I made the previous version of the sheet either, so now that's in it too. Unfortuneatly, it grew considerably in size and is not about 640kb to download.

Beautifully done, and thankfully PDF'd.

I will second Brian's opinion on the priorities, though. It's hardly necessary to have them on the sheet at all, especially taking up so much room.. But very nice all the same.

My own personal gripe is the lack of the TRoS logo. I'm rather fond of that thing, and to see it missing is unhappy-making for me.

If I could, I would have made it a .pdf file when I sent the sheet to Jake, but unfortunately I don’t have the full version of Acrobat. But as Brian says, it’s really nice that someone from the forum will do it. And that “Character form” thing sounds pretty cool.

Heh, I hadn’t noticed the “Leige” thing – it’s misspelled on the original downloadable character sheet as well, and I just wrote it directly off from it without giving it further thought.

I guess you’re right about the relatively large space allocated to priorities. I thought that if your previous character had loads of insight it might be useful to have the priorities written down. But removing them would make more space, and then there’d be room for the missing Riddle of Steel logo :-) I think I’ll do that.

Anyway, I’m glad you guys like it.

EDIT: Hey, I totally forgot: Thanks for the .PDF conversion, Angaros - it's really nice. Good job!

The pdf form is now avaliable at:
PDF Form (http://www.student.itn.liu.se/~joaan787/docs/rossheet_form.pdf)

Please save it to your own computer and fill it out locally instead of open it in the browser. Right click and choose "save target as...". Thank you. :)

I've now added Jocke's PDF form version of that sheet to the site in place of the original, which has been removed.

Nice! :) I have now removed the charsheets from my site. Both because I need the space, and because it's good if people look to the support page on theriddleofsteel.net primarily for these things. :)

::blinks rapidly:: You can make a PDF FORM???

Is the original landscape one like that too, and I just never noticed?

SWEET!

Edit: Ah, I see that the landscape one (which I prefer, personally) is not in form format.. Would it be possible for it to be converted as well?

Incidentally, there's an error in the form. It's adding Agility+Perception to give Reflex and Agility+Wit to give Aim. They should be the other way around.

Also, there's something really strange going on with Kaa.. a Toughness of 5 and Willpower 1 (and nothing in the other stats) gives me a Kaa of 25..!

I've corrected the aim and reflex formulas and I've had a look at the kaa formula. For me, there's nothing wrong with it. I entered a TO of 5 and a WP of 1 and got a kaa of 3... I am certainly no expert at this and have no idea of what can be wrong... :/

As for making the landscape sheet into a pdf form... well, I have to think about it... :) Making forms is really easy though (as long as you've got Acrobat installed ofc) -- but can be a bit time-consuming.

Well I, personally, would greatly appreciate it, Jocke. If not, that's fine, I'll just keep printing them out as normal, and adding the information with my stubby fingers.

Actually, I probably won't.. I've got the char-gen, so I don't suppose it's necessary, really.. but it'd still be cool if you decide to do it.

And I don't really have stubby fingers.

I like em, they're nice.  I really don't like the pictures in there though.

I just updated the file with the requested fixes (thanks again, Jocke). It's in the same place, same link.
