Title: Playtest Mayhem High
Post by: Bankuei on June 11, 2003, 12:57:23 AM
Hi guys,

I'm looking for a few good playtesters...

Here's something I've had brewing for a long time, and decided
to finally put together in a semi-coherent form. The file is available under the Indie Netgaming Yahoo group files section at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/indie-netgaming/files/

"Mayhem High

Mayhem High is the anime game of chaos, destruction,
thermonuclear volleyball, and accidental singularities, all in the
name of passing grades, good dates, and skipping curfew.

It's an anime roleplaying game about high school hijinks with
ninjas, giant robots, weird science, aliens, and Things Which
Must Not Be Named. This game ain't about angsty, eternal
tragedy, or universal truth and metaphysics. This game is about
making things go boom, ok?"

Folks familiar with stuff like Ninja High School, Gold Digger, Dirty
Pair, Slayers, Dragon Half, or the Ultimate Teacher should be
right on target for this game.

For folks who are interested in it...

-Are the rules clear? What isn't clear?
-Do you feel that you've got enough to run with here?
-What parts would you like expanded/clarified?

Thanks,

Chris

Cool. Gotta love El Loco Monkey! Background material was pitched just right, IMO.

Rules wise, you might want to be clearer on the Pool/Mayhem Pool split.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the quick reply, clarity issues, "What's missing/needs expansion?" and the rules in play are definitely the sorts of responses I'm looking for.

Thanks again,

Chris
