Jared let me out of the basement long enough to post these layout samples for the upcoming InSpectres print edition for GenCon.
The artwork is killer, and I finally had a nice breakthrough for layout after:
Me: So, do you have some ideas for what you want?
Jared: Make it cool.
Me: Um, ok.
Jared: Oh, and make it like a corporate handbook.
Me: So, just like it is now -- Word file with Times and Helvetica. No ... problem ... um ....
<later>
Jared: I know what I want. This isn't it.
Me: (Damn indie game designers)
Anyway, check out these sample layout pages (http://www.chimera.info/demos/inspectres_sample.pdf)
(500k+ PDF file)
Looks great Matt.
(drool, drool)
So is there a deal for those of us that already own the PDF?
regards,
Trevis
There will be a deal of some sort, not sure what. Because of the art budget, I don't feel that I should/can/want to give away the art-ful version of the game as a free PDF update. I'm not even sure I will offer InSpectres (w/art) as a PDF.
Most likely (and this has yet to be decided), the print version will be $20, same as octaNe. It might also contain UnSpeakable and In-Speckers, but I need to talk to Tim Boser about that.

Matt:
Very Cool! I can hardly wait.
I would buy the dead tree. I'm just hoping for a little cookie for those who've supported you thus far. If not I'll buy it anyway. :)
I like your shirts too.

Trevis
