Since Jake said not to reply to his announcement up there concerning his trip, and said to start a new thread, here it is....
Jake! I am confused. You are moving to albania, or just hanging out there for 7 weeks until you move elsewhere? If it IS elsewhere, where IS your new home going to be, and what, may I ask, is precipitating the move?
And, why Albania? What's taking you there?
And Brian having traveled some too. I'm jealous. I had a friend once who just bought a 3 month pass on the euro rail and traveled all over the place. And me, I've been to Canada, stepped across the border of mexico, and once, while in the navy, stepped onto the shore of peurto rico. Woo hoo.
:)
I know his wife is Albanian. Maybe he is visiting family.
Oh, if his wife is albanian, that explains the whole "why albania" part, heh.
Yeah, my wife is Albanian and I've never been to her homeland, so we're going there for a 4 weeks, then to Poland (where we both used to live) for a week and a half, then to Italy for a week and a half (just for fun). I will then haul my broke ass home to Tennessee, where my parents live, as I look for a new job. When I find that new job, I'll know where I'm moving to.
Why a new job? Some of you know that I'm a pretty young guy. My wife and I just graduated from school and it's time to further my career and her degree (she's going for her PhD). Things with TROS and Driftwood Publishing should only improve once I get back, so have no fear.
Jake
What part of Poland are you going to?

Hey Jake, what part of TN will you be moving to? If it's cool with you, there are several of us out here in Western NC that might drop by and play some Riddle and bug you with constant questions about swordplay and just about anything else that you could imagine. Oh and beer, we could drink lots of beer.
IIRC, Jake doesn't drink. However, I do. Feel free to send any unused (and unopened, thanks) alcohol to:
Spartan Benevolent Beer Fund

Calgary AB
Thank-you. :)

OTOH, if he's on the western side of TN (Memphis would be perfect), that would put him within weekend driving distance of Peoria...
heh, heh, heh

Yeah man, traveling is very moreish. I only just got back from 6 weeks in South America, and I'm off to Australia this afternoon (just for the weekend though, we're having a Sydney blowout for a mates 30th) and either next year or early the one after that we'll be doing the Middle East...
So yes, make sure you travel lots. You wont regret it :-)
Hey.. is there anyone from Sydney on the forum? Are Games Paradise and Toy Soldier still around?
Brian.

I don't know if you can find it up there, but another of my favorites is Battlefield Black by Spring Garden brewery here in NC... the same guys that make Red Oak.
Oh, and don't forget Shiner Hefe Visen (sp?) a great Texan beer.
