Title: Nightscape: Nightmares and Barbarity in the Wastelands
Post by: Kirk Mitchell on November 30, 2003, 09:45:05 AM
Ok. I think I have it now. The second official draft copy of Nightscape is now finished. Sorry it took so long, but it's not as if anyone was on the edge of their seets and I had school work to work on.

Anyways, just take a look at http://www.geocities.com/dumirik/ and tell me what you think of the game.

In particular, I would like comments on how I should progress with my colour text and concept, how you think my resolution mechanic works and whether it would work at all.

I am aiming for a very freeform system that is attuned to my basic scenario idea.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Kirk,

There doesn't seem to a page at that link. I'm interested in checking this out, though.

Hi Clinton,

Sorry about that. I can't really figure out this particular program, and as such I can't place it on the net. It should work now, but I can only get to the document itself, not the sight, so you won't be able to read the synopsis. However, this is approximately how the synopsis goes:

You are one of the few survivors in the wasteland of the near future. At some point, something went wrong, and the world of nightmares crossed the threshold into our world. Now, in order to survive, not only must you fight the denziens of the Nightscape and other gangs of survivors, but your own inner nature. Can you remain human enough to make a difference? Or even to survive?

Check out the doc at http://www.geocities.com/dumirik/Nightscape.doc

I'm glad your interested,
Kirk
