Title: [Unsung] Half an Episode, Out of Order
Post by: xiombarg on January 14, 2004, 05:37:12 AM
You might want to freshen up with the previous thread (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/viewtopic.php?t=8864).

This session had a lot more Gifts, in part because we "skipped ahead".

As before, the first link is the "narrative" and the second link is a log of our out-of-character chatter.

I'm very interested in what people -- both those who played and those who didn't -- think of what went on. I found the gay-bashing stuff to be an interesting dramatic aside.

As a reminder, here's the ruleset we're using:

How is it an aside? Right now it seems to me, as Ricky's player, as the key element in his development. His "heartland ethics" apparently has a double standard. Can he overcome it, or will it finish the job of sending him down the tubes to complete irresponsibility?

Tune in next week!

Mike

Heh. I didn't mean to play down Ricky's character development there, Mike. I thought it was a really cool improv riff.
