Can someone explain to me how they would fight these two in the simulator? My combats are lasting much too long.

I would let Stefan be very defensive in order to tire Max out (with his armor he will lose his CP much faster than Stefan) and I would play Max in an offensive fashion for the opposite reason; as soon as Stefan puts too few dices in an attack I would let Max forego his defense and attack instead.

Yeah, that's about it. Were I playing Max, I'd be aggressive all the time, even when I don't have initiative. If Steffan throws too weak a strike, Max can just ignore it and attack instead.

Of course, the simulator does not have all the nifty stuff..
