Title: teaching theory

Quote from: Mike HolmesSo, at this point, I'm thinking we're back to talking about what makes something accessible. Anybody got any links on how to write less "theory" and more "instruction" oriented texts? Perhaps if we knew more of the difference, we could see better where we're lacking.

Here are a few sites about pedagogy:

14 Patterns of Pedagogy

From Pedagogy to Netagogy

Learning Styles

These have ideas of different ways to communicate, some of which are already being done. IGC and the like are clearly student design sprints (http://csis.pace.edu/~bergin/PedPat1.3.html#studentdesignsprint), one of the 14 patterns.

Yrs,
