Title: SAs and overlap
Post by: hkdharmon on July 11, 2004, 02:44:26 PM
If someone has more than one SA that applies to a situation ("Conscience: Protect women" and "Passion: Love for Susan" in a fight to save Susan) does he add both SAs to his rolls or does he pick and choose?

Hi Aaron,

Yeah, all applicable SA's are added together.  And yes, this does mean its possible to get up to 25 dice going at one time.

Depending on your style of play:

-SA points may be handed out a few a session OR each and every time an appropriate situation arises(which may mean several points in a single scene alone!)

-SA dice may only be added to the CP pool total, or added to each and every roll involved(as written).

As you can see, SAs allow folks to totally break "realism" and jump right into cinematic action very easily.
