Because of Dogs in the Vineyard, we'll hopefully get some LDS roleplayers in here. Out of respect to them, let's adopt a convention: if somebody puts a [G] in a subject line, please don't swear in that thread. Cool?
Let's be unlike the Forge at large and say that our personal religions are on-topic in this forum. Preaching is not, in a big way, so don't do it, but if you want to talk about your religious experiences, you may. Be prepared for me - or anybody - to bring roleplaying into religion threads. We'll see how that goes and we can change it if we need to.
Let's be like the Forge at large in all the other important ways: communicate well, consider your words, attack ideas if you want but never attack the people who hold 'em, all the good stuff.
If you actually play any of my games, post in the Actual Play forum instead of here, unless for some reason you want the attention of a narrower audience.

As far as I know, I'm up to date on fulfillment, except whatever orders came in this weekend. A big batch - maybe 20 books - is in the mail right now; if you ordered yours within the last two weeks it'll be one of them.
If it's been longer than 2-4 weeks, I'm sorry! It might be one of three or four problems, including that I'm an irresponsible slouch, and I'll be able to narrow it down if you tell me who you are.

New to these boards...but I've been around other boards for awhile...I've already e-mailed you about 2 weeks ago. inquiring about the book I ordered September 13th. Since I've ordered and received other books. If you say you've mailed out a bunch of books...I'll take it that mine is in there and I can expect it soon. I should note that my previous post was probably a tad more caustic than intended...but that is what happens when you post in the wee hours of the morning, just after you get home from work. So, I'll apologize for that. the word is that you are a decent guy and Dogs is a great game...so I look forward to getting it. If i do not receive it in the next couple of weeks I'll be sure to e-mail you.
Ken Pick, a Catholic friend of mine, did a post apocalpse LDS setting with some furries (though not dominated by them, so I'm not sure it counts as a furry FRPG, especially since there wasn't any sex in it) similar to DIV.
He ended up with a lot of interesting cultural background information provided by LDS gamers, but filtered through Ken's eyes. It was interesting.
Got the "discuss" but "not preach" tone just right.
I confess, Vincent (if I may call you Vincent), that one of the things that astonished me the most in DITV is the extremely respectful tone with which religion was dealt with as a subject. It is unusual in RPGs, and even moreso in the French RPG environment in which I publish. I live in Quebec (Canada), where showing any kind of religious affiliation in public is almost considered a mental disease. The open heart and honesty of DITV appealed to me a great lot, as the fact that only a conscience judges. I hope one day to use it as a tool teach my faith to my children and bring them to think about issues and responsible choices, when they are older. I will be delighted to read how LDS players experience their faith through LDS, not having the chance to have fellow players with my sensibilities as they do.
Being a believer myself, although not a LDS, I found very refreshing that tone and I am delighted that religious players like the LDS can find confort in a RPG without re-writing it, while having it remain open enough for anyone. Your account of DITV's origins on your blog impressed me a lot, and made me understand a lot too. Thanks a lot for it. Your game is the one that impressed me the most of the last years, and I've seen a lot. :)

I've really enjoyed Dogs in the Vineyard ever since someone pointed it out to me and have had some fun using it to make parts of an old setting of mine work better.
