Title: GenCon Indy 2005 booth specifications
Post by: Paul's Girl on February 10, 2005, 12:55:28 PM
Hi everyone,

I know we talked alot about what the booth would be like this year, and I would like to start the conversation (if it hasn't been already and I missed it).

So, the first idea that we might want to look at comfort issues. Maybe others noticed that some booths had that interlocking foam tile flooring instead of renting that (oh so lovely) carpet. I walked on a few last year and boy were my feet happy! I found a few on e-bay:

(it was a search for 'interlocking foam').

This might be a good investment, since next year we wouldn't need to rent carpet, or the year after. If we're intrested, we certainly don't have to buy from ebay, but they some examples to look at.

-Thanks!

Quick math:  At the prices on Ebay, the cost comes out to $0.625 per square foot + shipping.  If we have a 10x20 (single level) booth again this year that will be in the area of $130~$150 after shipping (I guesstimate).
