Seth! Finish Alyria already. What's your problem, man?
*Can also be used for Otherkind, Sorcerer in Space, or any other delayed game you want to have right now.

Totally. I want to see it with the pretty pictures!
Count me in for bugging Vincent about Otherkind. The game as written opened my eyes and knocked me on my ass. But it's not finished. I want it fleshed out! ASAP!
Please?
Seth,
Finish Alyria... or else!
I'll figure out that "or else" part later.
I need Alyria. I need it soon. I even made Clock dice to replace the now useless Moon dice. In fact, I made them so long ago, that they are literally collecting dust, sitting on my telephone stand. I wonder if the manuscript is doing the same thing. . .
Today is the day I am done bugging designers to finish their games.
Instead, I will discuss their designs with them, offer to playtest with them, read their drafts, write my own games, and otherwise offer a much more valuable service than pestering.

Or you could, you know: WORK ON YOUR OWN DAMN GAMES!

p.s. Yes, I'm aware of the irony.
Ah, my adoring fans.
I have received the mandate from the masses, and I will pursue it with vigor.
Or something like that.

HE'S LYING!
I game with Seth regularly...for the right price I could be persuaded to bring a louisville slugger to our next session...
...of course, after I was done "encouraging his artistic talent" I have to hand the bat over and give him a turn at me...
...hey...that sounds vaguely kinky...

I was about to offer the same thing regarding Mike Holmes and "Sorcerer in Space," but...

...now I feel a bit weird and uneasy about the whole thing.
I have $10 in my pocket. Where should I send it?
$20 towards Seth's beating. $10 towards Mike's.

(edit: I have already committed to administering a shinkicking to Vincent, for other reasons. Perhaps it could be repurposed into an OtherKind shinkicking?)
Speaking for me and my shins, I can't really get behind this thing where "bug" has become "administer violence unto." Bad trend. Bad, scary, bad trend.
I go now to buy hockey padding.

If I give myself a solid thrashing, can I have the money?
How's this sound, Seth? I'll send you $20 for a finished version of Legends of Alyria in .pdf form. No beating necessary.
I second (or whatever) the aversion to violence, and the appeal to greed. Seth, money comes your way not for beatings, but for a completed Alyria.
Gordon
I know nothing about Alyria, but I am a herd animal being running along with the mob, so...
Finish it! Before I, uh, fart in your general direction!
I'm down with bribery.
As soon as the Alyria book is finished, totally ready to head off to the printers, I will give Seth $20 to help with printing costs / beer money / whatever. In addition to buying a copy.
Mike just needs to get off his lazy ass.

Xenopulse: Do yourself a favor. Check out Legends of Alyria. The game (unfinished though it is) is well worth the time. This advice goes for anyone else that is just idly checking out this thread. There is a reason we all want this game finished!
There's a Forge Forum (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/viewforum.php?f=9) which is probably the best place to start. I managed to dig up the Quickstart Rules, Dreaming Out Loud columns, and the sample scenario, about a year and a half ago, but I have no idea where these are posted or if they're still available.
Thanks to my friend Jason Blair, you can find the Quickstart, etc. at http://www.hekeba.com/others/alyria/
If you're interested in helping Alyria get to press, please check out this thread (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/viewtopic.php?t=14991). Thanks.
Oh, and I will take all of you up on your bribes. Be prepared. :-D
If we're done beating on Seth and Mike, can I just say that, as badass as Mridangam (http://www.livejournal.com/users/unrequitedthai/64923.html) looks to be, Shreyas needs to finish Torchbearer or our first meeting may turn into a contest between my dancehall-fu and his Classical Indian Dodging Technique.
(Don't even LOOK my way and mention Argonauts, okay?! Completely different situation.)
