Title: [News] Two Sales & Five New Ideas
Post by: Keith Senkowski on June 14, 2005, 02:46:21 PM
First things first we have some sales going on for Conspiracy of Shadows.  Indie Press Revolution is currently selling the book for $14.99, which you can check out by going here.  They offer free shipping for orders over $25 if that matters to ya...

Also you can purchase Conspiracy of Shadows and Seventh Seal in a package deal over at Flames Rising for $30.00.

We also have Five new ideas for Conspiracy of Shadows 101 Ideas.  These five bring me up to 31 little nuggets.  I'm betting by GenCon I'll be at 101 (then I can stop thinking for a while).  This time they are all interesting locations for you to pick up and plug in to your CoS game (or any game for that matter).

Hey Keith, maybe you've mentioned this before, but are you going to bind up these ideas into a little book at some point? I think that'd be pretty cool, as long as it was affordable and came in a small size (maybe 6x9'') -- and it you think you'd sell enough for it to be worth your time, of course.

Jasper,

It's a nifty idea.  If there is enough demand for it I would do it.  I would likely have to flesh out some of the ideas more to make it worth the while.  The beauty of POD is that I can just have them available via Lulu.com at no cost to me save my time.

Yeah, lulu is what I was thinking of. You might even be able to tap into the larger gaming audience, since many of the ideas you've presented are applicable to other games as well.

I'm also toying with two other ideas.  One is a kinda supernatural scrap book.  The idea is that it is put together like some scholar's notebook with info on all sorts of stuff (creatures, artifacts, rituals, places, events, etc.).  It would be like 32 pages with the writing surrounded by sketches and the like of what the author is talking about.

The other idea I got is a sort of who's who book.  I got this Who's Who of the Middle Ages book which lists in encyclopedia style entries the lives of notable folks during that time.  It would emulate that, but may designed like an illuminated manuscript.  Dunno, cause that would be a ton of work...

Either way, both would be without stats and shit.  Just flavorful shit...
