Title: Timing
Post by: Darren Hill on July 28, 2005, 12:37:57 AM
In a typical session of 3-4 hours, with 4-5 players, how many scenes can I expect to get through? How many times will the Producer get a scene (that is, how long does it take to go around the table)?

I know the answer will be highly variable within a group, and will vary across groups, but is it possible to come up with a rough ballpark (or ball-in-the-stadium-ish) figure?

My experience saids three or four rounds of the table in 3-4 hours.

Do you hope to make some special use of the Producer turns?

Thanks, I mainly asked just so I'd have an idea what to expect.

QuoteMy experience saids three or four rounds of the table in 3-4 hours.

In our group, it's more like 6-8 rounds in 2-3 hours, with 4 players. So that's a bit faster.

I roughly estimate 4 scenes an hour in my games.

If I'm recalling correctly, we usually get about five scenes into about two hours. That ratio seems to hold up when we play longer, too.

Best,

Thanks everyone for your responses. I can see (as I expected) it varies a bit, but I have a reasonable idea what to expect now.
