Title: New Game Company
Post by: bluekabuto on April 07, 2002, 12:16:09 PM
Hi everyone!

This is my very FIRST time ever posting to this board and I looked around, but did not see a specific place to post announcements. So, if this is not the right place for this - please tell where I need to post it. I posted to the wrong board on rpg.net and it was not too well received. I didn't want to make the same mistake here.

With that said, I would just like to quickly introduce our new game company.....

BLUE KABUTO!

You can find us at: http://www.bluekabuto.com

We're got a lot of cool things planned ahead; our first release will be the Japanese culinary combat game - Ramen Raiders! Right now there's not much to look at on the website, but we'll have it completed real soon. Stop by and check out some of the "Battle Cubes" for Ramen Raiders (you'll need the VRML plug-in though).

Hi Brian,

And welcome to the Forge. The good news is that you are indeed in the right forum ... if your purpose is to open up your game to critique and possible dissection. This forum is about "game design," and you've basically said, by posting - examine our design and tell us what you think. Brace yourself, because Forge folks use strong lights. We also expect you to participate in the discussion.

There isn't any Forge forum simply for "announcing games," on purpose. That's the function of the Resource Library, which I encourage you to visit, and to add your game there.

Best,
Ron

Ron -

Thanks for the welcome. We've talked before - I am the Guardians OF Order Web Guy! ^_^ Glad to see Sorcerer finally out in print BTW. Is it much different then the PDF version? If so, I'll have to snag a copy.

In reguards to Blue Kabuto - I'll post something soon about our first release "Ramen Raiders", It's a culinary combat game set in ancient Japan where players battle against each other in the quest for the ULTIMATE bowl of ramen! We'll be looking for opinions from hardened gamers and industry professionals like yourself. I should have the rest of the website completed this week and then we can open up discussions. Please be kind in your game thrashing though - I wouldn't want to develop a twitch! :)
