I listened to the Hite interview. It certainly wasn't as good a Tevis' previous interviews with Mr. Hite. I think they had been drinking a bit before the interview took place.
I spoke to them the next day, and they did indeed indicate that they had been drinking prior to the interview. I believe they characterized the interview as "drunken ramblings" in fact.
