Title: new game from Black & Green
Post by: Emily Care on July 14, 2006, 10:09:06 AM
Shooting the Moon (http://www.fairgame-rpgs.com/ecb/StM2.pdf) will be available at GenCon Indie.  Thank in great part to the amazing illustrations of the Jenn Manley Lee (http://www.jennworks.com/), and lots of help from the west Mass posse and the Raleigh trio.

Here's a sneak preview:

In Shooting the Moon, you take on the roles of three characters brought
together, and put through the ringer, by love.

Two Suitors compete for the affection of a shared Beloved, who has
overwhelming odds of their own to face.  United and divided by their shared
fates and intertwined destinies--the game will let you see what these three
characters are made of, and what they will do for love.

all the best,
Emily

Sweet. Will it be available for us foreign types as well?

BTW, I always thought it was "through the wringer", not "through the ringer". Am I wrong?

It is through the "Wringer", where you wring wet clothes.

Emily, I'm curious, will you be utilizing the CSI Game (http://competitiverpgs.pbwiki.com) moniker?

Very exciting news, Emily!  I'm looking forward to seeing it.

And it is wringer, Matthijs, although "ringer" may be a colloquialism.  I pored over the dictionary and wracked my brain to figure it out.

Ringer = colloquialism, if colloquialism = typo : )

Yes, it will be available to all y'all foreign types. From me or IPR. I should look into making it available via pdf too (and BtI for that matter).

And hey Guy--it does seem to fit the bill as a CSI. I'll have to check out the info on it at your site again.

all the best,
Em

Emily,

For the record, I'd love it if it was out in .pdf. Oh, and Breaking the Ice too.
