Title: aspects neither transformed nor redeemed?
Post by: James_Nostack on August 22, 2006, 04:32:21 PM
Hi Michael-- in the end of our WGP game, one my aspects had been devastated, but we defeated the villain and devastated his Plan before I could redeem the aspect.  What happens to it?  Do things go back to normal, more or less, or is it still "in hock" or what?

Kudos, by the way, on a fun an exciting game.  I'll add to our AP report in a little bit, I hope.

I like to run a set of enrichments after the final conflict.
this way the players get a chance to win back their aspects as part of the stakes.
To me I want to see what happens when the heroes get reunited what what they almost lost and I think its worth a scene for it
it also sets up interesting situations if one player is more interested in redeeming another players aspect over his own.
the one who redeems it transforns it so that can be alot of fun

Hi, James.

Kat and I play it a little differently. I allow those Aspects to return to the Scratch Pad relatively unchanged. However, if we were to do another Story Arc, I'd suggest that the player make that Aspect his Strife for the next story. There's got to be some great loose ends to tie up!
