Title: [Don't Rest Your Head] Non-profound admiration
Post by: Ron Edwards on August 24, 2006, 03:14:27 PM
Did I ever mention how much I liked this game? It makes me wish I'd read The Pool before writing Sorcerer.

I think you've set a new bar for explaining how to use character-creation material in play.

(By "non-profound," I figure I'm just sayin' the obvious.)

Best, Ron

Heh.  Yeah.  I very much dove into my desire to explain the process of making use of what the players give you.  Games just don't focus enough on the idea that the character sheet is a love letter from the player to the GM, where they tell you exactly what's going to make them love you even more.  Use the crap outta that, man.  Milk it.

In case it's not obvious, I'm making a gross inaccurate generalization about "games", in my above. :)
